  • Commenced the first high-containment API R&D Centre in ASEAN
  • Commenced the first Finished Product R&D Centre in ASEAN to develop complex products meeting USFDA standards

2017

  • Commenced the first high-containment oncology finished product R&D Centre in ASEAN to develop OEB5 products meeting USFDA standards
  • Pioneered Southeast Asia industry benchmarks by delivering first-to-market medicines through non-infringing formulations

2019

  • Established Novugen Uzbekistan's manufacturing facility

2020

  • Commissioned Novugen Pharma's state-of-the-art Oral Solid Dosage manufacturing facility with NPRA approval

2021

  • Commissioned Novugen Oncology's state-of-the-art Oral Solid Dosage manufacturing facility with NPRA approval

2022

  • Attained USFDA approval for Novugen Pharma’s manufacturing facility – First in Malaysia and only one in Southeast Asia
  • Novugen Oncology’s flagship product – Abiraterone Acetate, received ANDA approval for the US market
  • Launched Novugen Pharma’s first products, Novugab (Pregabalin) and Tadigra (Tadalafil) to all healthcare sectors in Malaysia

2023

  • Received USFDA approval for Novugen Oncology’s manufacturing facility – First in Malaysia and only one in Southeast Asia
  • Novugen Oncology became the first USFDA approved, high containment (OEB5) Finished Product manufacturing facility in Southeast Asia
  • Oncogen Pakistan manufacturing facility commenced operations

2024

  • Novugen became the 1st pharmaceutical company in Southeast Asia to export oncology generics to the USA
  • Novugen secured its first exclusive first-to-file status for Trametinib for the US market
